Morning Gloryby *torivarn

Svolvaer a Septembermorning.
This is the view they have many morning from the airport in Svolvaer, which is a small town in Nordland, Norway.

I exposed for the brightest part of the sun here and made two copies of this one which I reduced by one stop each, so I got get some more details. It is lightly tonemapped and obviously converted to b&w.

First of all i would like to say this is a amazing picture. im not into black and white but with this one i am, Silver tone on the water from the sun those tones are great just gives it a bit of light, hills set the picture of also, also good to see is a straight horizon. The clouds lift the picture up as they come rolling into the picture whites, grays, and the fluffy clouds also. Let the be light looks good as it shines though the clouds.. Shadow tones are good also Well done Tor With your Stormy picture.
